Have you ever met a person whose passion for life and for fulfilling their destiny is blazing like a roaring fire?
Have you noticed the sparkle in their eyes… and how uplifting it feels to be in their presence?
You may have also met many more people who are lukewarm, uncertain, unsure, uncommitted and undecisive.
From an esoteric perspective, to be lukewarm is to not be fully present, it is to be part of the herd and not really engaged with life. It is living life blandly and meaninglessly, just going through the motions. It is to be mediocre.
TO BE LUKEWARM IS TO LIVE A LIFE OF MEDIOCRITY
In regards to spiritual matters, the state of mediocrity is totally undesirable. Mediocrity and spirituality are mutually exclusive terms.
A person who is lukewarm is not able to make spiritual progress and become self-individuated and so be self-actualised.
The shaman, who is the warrior of light, undertakes a series of steps or rites of passage in order to break out of stupefaction or mediocrity, make genuine spiritual progress and become self-actualised.
The skill and the means for undertaking the shamanic journey to retrieve one’s own power and will is one of the rites of passage that students undertake in the Medicine Woman Certificate in Shamanic Studies® program.
Next program begins on the next New Moon.
